I really enjoyed this entire series. As usual with sci-fi, there was the commonplace to ground things in reality and the novel to show off how the authors were going to explore elements that don’t exist. The blend of familiar and extraordinary elements made the story accessible while still providing the excitement of discovering new concepts and technologies.

Overall, I thought the series was entirely worth it as I went from book to book. Each installment kept something of the old while revealing the new, ensuring continuity and freshness in equal measure. The continuity and development were handled in a way that respected the established story while still allowing for significant changes and growth.

I can see myself coming back to this series.
