Ah another book by Dennis E. Taylor’s, for me this one falls into the light sci-fi category and was an enjoyable listen. I couldn’t help noticing significant plot similarities with my favorite series of his, the Bobiverse. Overall, it was a good listen, but probably not one I’d revisit.

On a broader note, I find it intriguing how authors often explore the concept of “god in their own image.” Taylor’s space sci-fi novels, including this one, often delve into what it could be like to wield god-like powers, albeit not quite a god, maybe just a titan.
