Oh sure, nope, this one got chucked faster than a hotdish left out in July once I saw what was goin’ on. I’d been hearin’ a lotta chatter about this book—ya know, everyone and their uncle’s dog was raving about it—so I thought, “Well, let’s see what all the fuss is aboot.” Turns out, I shoulda paid closer attention to who was makin’ them recommendations. Lesson learned? So yeah, didn’t finish it. Next book! Honestly, Andarna was the only thing keepin’ me from tossin’ it straight into the the lake for the carp to chew on.

Well, doncha know, this makes three books for me this month, and two of ’em were DNFs. The one I did finish? Eh, about as exciting as watchin’ snow melt in March. Here’s hopin’ the next one’s a real page-turner and not another dud. Fingers crossed, yah?
