From time to time, I really enjoy reading books like this. One aspect that fascinates me is evaluating the psychology of the target audience, examining what makes compelling characters, and putting the main character in a place where they are “justified” in taking extreme action while still remaining a good person.
In “The Gray Man,” protecting the helpless and innocent is held as the primary highest purpose. This noble mission drives the protagonist and forms the core of the narrative. The Gray Man is unwavering in his commitment to this cause, and nothing can stand between him and protecting the innocent. This unwavering dedication is something I deeply appreciate. It adds depth to the character and elevates the stakes of the story, making the book a thrilling read.
